The Parochial Church Council
for Brindle St. James' church

The Parochial Church Council (PCC) currently has ten members who meet regularly throughout the year. There is a Safeguarding Officer and a Vision Champion.

There are several sub-committees such as the Finance Committee, which meets to set and monitor the annual budget; Buildings Committee, which provides a working party each Saturday morning to maintain the church building, grounds (a landscaping company provides churchyard maintenance) and commission other works such as tree maintenance, new gates etc. This is the link to the annual report prepared in April 2022.

There are two churchwardens and a verger.

If you would like to get involved, then why not join the team of 25 sides people who assist on a rota basis at services each week? This team is instrumental in greeting to ensure everyone feels welcome.
