New? Meet the Church Family
Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know. Our walking day of witness 2018 photo shows our church family gathering on a gloriously sunny day on Water Street.
Key information about the church...
Where & when does the church meet?
We worship in our beautiful building on Sundays at 10.30am & 6.30pm and on Wednesdays at 6.30pm. While social distancing rules are in place, it is important to register on our church database for services. Please us the Get in Touch form to let us know your email address and that you are perhaps new to our church. You should then list of services to choose and return. Or you can email using the email address at the footer of this page.
Aim to arrive at the Community Hall car park, - just a bit further down Water Street - 15 minutes early to ensure you arrive in time for the service to start.
We meet at:
You can see a map on our contact us page.
What should I expect when I visit the church?
You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. There will be approximately 45 mins of singing hymns, opportunities to pray and listen to passages from the bible as well as a short sermon.
What happens for children?
We have a fantastic team of Sunday School leaders at the Church for all children from pre-school age. Please take a look on our calendar for dates and times. Parents can stay with your children or join the Sunday service. The children are supervised as they join the service for a blessing.
Is there a dress code?
No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes. You can even wear a football shirt if you want to, as long as it's a Blackburn Rovers shirt - just kidding!
Will I have to join in?
Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them.
Please feel free to contact us.
